Villa Mel is a contemporary four-bedroom retreat in the hills near Melides, designed with a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. Spread across 200 m² and set within a vast 30,000 m² plot of Mediterranean vegetation and cork forest, the house uses natural materials and generous glazing to create a warm, understated living environment.

The interiors are open and fluid, with a timber ceiling adding texture to the main living space. A fully equipped kitchen and relaxed dining area open onto shaded terraces, while each bedroom offers direct outdoor access and garden views. Bathrooms are finished in a modern style, some featuring handmade tiles in rich blue and green tones.

Outside, the saltwater pool is edged by native planting and built-in loungers, while a panoramic rooftop terrace offers uninterrupted views across the hills to the Atlantic. Villa Mel is located 8 km from Melides village and 12 km from the coast, making it an ideal base for quiet exploration of the Alentejo region.
