High above the terracotta rooftops of Lucca, Apartment Licia offers a bright and inviting retreat right in the heart of the city. Tucked within the ancient walls and just a few steps from Via Fillungo’s vibrant charm, this third-floor apartment balances style and comfort with an effortless sense of place.

Climb the stairs of this classic Lucca building and step into a welcoming space filled with natural light. The open-plan living area is thoughtfully designed for slow mornings and restful evenings, with warm neutral tones, elegant touches and a gentle blend of modern and vintage furnishings. At its heart, a sleek kitchen flows into a generous dining area, while the adjoining lounge invites you to sink into the sofa and unwind after a day spent exploring.

The highlight is the terrace: a private perch overlooking Lucca’s rooftops, where you can sip your morning espresso in the sun or linger with a glass of wine as the city quiets down for the evening. The space is simple yet soulful, an easy going backdrop for both al fresco lunches and lazy afternoons with a book.

Both bedrooms are calm and cosy, designed for restful sleep and quiet moments. Soft textiles, velvet armchairs and charming decor lend a sense of easy elegance, while the modern bathroom and laundry facilities provide the practical comforts needed for longer stays.

Apartment Licia is wonderfully located for discovering Lucca on foot. Whether it’s the nearby Clock Tower chiming in the distance, the scent of fresh focaccia drifting from a bakery, or the simple joy of turning down a hidden alleyway, the city’s everyday beauty is all around you. Within minutes, you can reach churches, shops, restaurants and the city walls themselves, ideal for morning walks or bike rides.

For couples, friends or small families seeking a graceful base in one of Tuscany’s most atmospheric towns, Apartment Licia is an easy choice. It’s a place to slow down, settle in and live just like a local, only with better views.
