Elevated above the rhythm of Via Fillungo, Lucca’s liveliest and most iconic street, Apartment Mercanti is an architectural showstopper. Set on the fourth floor with private elevator access, this glamorous three-bedroom apartment places you in the cultural core of the city, just steps from Torre Guinigi, Piazza San Michele, and the Anfiteatro.

Inside, clean architectural lines meet soaring timbered ceilings, soft natural light, and statement Italian design. The apartment’s minimalist palette sets the stage for curated furniture pieces, bespoke lighting, and sleek finishes by renowned brand Antonio Lupi. And while the vibe is contemporary, original wooden beams and terracotta tiles nod to Lucca’s centuries-old charm.

The layout is spacious and sociable, with a stylish open-plan kitchen and dining area flowing seamlessly into the main living space. Whether you’re hosting dinner or enjoying a simple antipasto spread after a day in the city, everything feels effortlessly elevated.

A glass-walled mezzanine floats above the main living space, ideal for quiet reading, cocktails, or simply watching the sunset over the rooftops. From here, you’ll catch glimpses of three of Lucca’s legendary towers: Torre Guinigi, Torre delle Ore, and the Campanile del Mercato.

Three double bedrooms offer restful luxury, with crisp linens, generous storage, and warm wooden floors underfoot. The master suite is a standout, with its own gas fireplace, walk-in wardrobe, and en-suite bathroom that feels more like a private spa. There’s a second full bathroom and an additional guest WC, ideal for groups or families sharing the space.

Apartment Mercanti is equipped for comfort in every season, with air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a private elevator that opens directly into the apartment, no need to navigate old staircases after a day exploring. A refined retreat above the buzz of the city, Apartment Mercanti is ideal for travellers seeking high design, unbeatable views, and a truly central Lucca experience.
