Maison Ecuyere offers a sociable retreat a short walk from the heart of La Bois Plage en Ré. This expansive villa, discreetly hidden behind its gates, is a celebration of light, calm and conviviality. Sunlight pours through large windows into the beautifully curated living and dining space where soft neutrals, wooden textures and bespoke furnishings create a refined, island-inspired atmosphere.

Indeed, the home unfolds across 300 square metres of thoughtfully designed interiors. The large living area flows seamlessly into the open-plan dining area and stylish kitchen, fully equipped for family feasts or lazy breakfasts. Six gorgeous bedrooms, including a children’s bedroom with table football, cater comfortably to groups of up to 14. Other impressive features include two TV lounges (one on each floor) and reversible air-conditioning on the first-floor. Every element, from the Thermomix and Nespresso maker in the kitchen to satellite TV and Bluetooth speakers, has been considered for comfort and style.

Outside, the courtyard-style garden is entirely enclosed and feels wonderfully private. The wooden terrace links indoors and out with ease, creating a true “inside-out” lifestyle. Cool off in the heated pool, linger over lunch on the shaded patio or rally for ping pong in the afternoon sun. In the evenings, the plancha grill invites relaxed al-fresco dining.

Perfectly positioned to explore the island, the villa sits within a 15-minute walk of La Bois Plage en Ré’s daily market, bursting with fresh produce, artisanal finds and island delicacies. The nearby cycling trail leads directly to the beaches, while Saint-Martin-de-Ré and La Couarde are just minutes away, making it easy to discover charming harbours, boutiques and waterside restaurants.

Whether gathered with extended family or close friends, Maison Ecuyere is a place where afternoons stretch long by the pool and the pace of island life settles in with ease. A relaxed and radiant stay awaits in the timeless heart of Ile de Ré.
