There’s something quietly striking about Harvest Moon. Once a working grain store, it has been reimagined as a distinctive countryside retreat, where curved architecture and open views create a space that feels both intimate and memorable.

Inside, the design follows the natural shape of the building, with a flowing layout that moves from kitchen to dining to living. A custom curved kitchen, antique dining table and relaxed seating area set the tone for slow, easy living, while the wood-burning stove and underfloor heating bring a sense of warmth throughout the seasons.

Upstairs, the mezzanine bedroom draws the eye. A king-size bed is positioned between floor-to-ceiling windows, with uninterrupted views stretching across the surrounding fields. As the light shifts through the day, the space takes on a different feel, bright and open in the morning, softer and more enclosed by evening.

Harvest Moon is well suited to couples looking for something a little different, a stay shaped as much by its design as its setting. The wider Buttercup Estate offers space to explore, along with the option to book The Film House for a more immersive night in.
